New Jersey amusement park ride shut down after injury

Amusement parks are popular summer destinations along the Jersey Shore for tourists and locals alike. During this past Fourth of July week, the Seaside Heights amusement park Casino Pier closed one of its rides after it malfunctioned, injuring a visitor. The 51-year-old Philadelphia woman was on the Crazy Bus, a children's ride, with her two grandchildren when it malfunctioned around 9:30 p.m. on July 5.

Ford Explorers reportedly still leaking carbon monoxide

It's been two years since the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) began investigating complaints that some Ford Explorers were leaking carbon monoxide inside the vehicle. Since then, more than 40 people have reported suffering negative effects from the toxic fumes seeping into their SUVs.
